3D Digital Noise Reduction (DNR)
3D DNR is a frame buffering and averaging technology that identifies and digitally filters out unwanted noise in the video signal without sacrificing picture detail. It allows your player to produce an image that is much closer to the film original.

4-Power Picture Zoom
One of the more popular DVD convenience options, this feature is included on all Toshiba models. Picture Zoom offers four different levels of zoom or magnification, and provides an on-screen display indicating the location of the zoomed portion of the picture and its magnification. It allows you to minimize or eliminate letterbox "black bars," or focus in on a specific portion of the picture.

24-Bit 192kHz PCM Audio Capability
This is a digital-to-analog converter that gives Toshiba DVD players the capacity to decode high bandwidth recordings. The result is an accurate reproduction of the original recording with superior sound quality.

CDR/MP3

• CD-R: Compact Disc Recordable discs have become a popular way of storing your own music or video images onto a CD¹ With a CD burner, you can choose the specific music to be recorded onto a CD-R disc.
• MP3: MPEG Audio Layer 3 is a digital compression format that can compress regular music tracks onto a CD-R. With MP3 compression, one CD-R disc can store up to 100 music tracks on a single disc² This gives you the ability to store an immense number and variety of MP3 music tracks onto one CD-R.

1 CD-R discs are playable. Some content recorded via PC may not be compatible.
2 Number of music tracks will vary depending on the length of each track and bit rate. The 100-track approximate is based on 128kbps at an average of five minutes per track.

Custom Picture Settings
Different types of movies (e.g. animation or computer-assisted) require different TV picture adjustments. The Custom Picture Settings feature offers five separate picture settings to compensate digitally for these differences, and eliminates the need to continually re-adjust your television's settings.

DVD Audio
Unlike CD audio, DVD Audio provides up to six discrete channels for music. This creates a wider sound stage, and surrounds you with music-it's almost like being there.

Front Panel Operation
Front Panel Operation allows you to navigate through the film menu using the controls on the DVD player instead of the remote control.

Picture Capture
The Picture Capture feature allows you to store an image from your favourite film in the memory of your DVD player. Once you've captured and stored an image, it will appear on your screen whenever you open the disc drawer, press stop, or play a CD. This innovative feature is a great way to customize your DVD player.

Play Exchange
This feature allows your player to exchange up to four discs while in the play mode. With Play Exchange, there is no need to stop the player in order to remove or insert additional discs.

Progressive Scan Output
Traditional DVD players output interlaced images, which can result in visible line structure and flicker on the screen. Progressive Scan DVD players, when connected to a progressive scan television, will eliminate these problems and deliver unsurpassed picture quality that rivals film.

Super ColorStream Pro™
All our progressive scan DVD players are equipped with Super ColorStream Pro™ outputs for enhanced progressive scan picture performance. They also offer a 3:2 Pull Down process, which digitally reconstructs video images to provide you with a picture that recreates the movie theatre experience.

Virtual Remote
The Virtual Remote feature displays the more commonly used remote control functions on the TV screen. For low-lit home theatre rooms or for a "heads-up" type of display, the Virtual Remote feature makes navigating the DVD player or film menu easy and convenient.
