Eco Mode

Toshiba’s Eco Utility helps monitor power savings by showing approximate real time power consumption as well as accumulated power consumption and power savings when using eco mode daily, weekly, and monthly. You can realize measurable power savings by using the Eco Button continuously.
Here are some of the default features of eco mode. These settings are in addition to the standard Power saver plan settings of Windows.
- The brightness of the display is lowered.
- Where applicable, LED illumination and keyboard backlight are turned off
- The unit will also enter sleep mode within a short period of time:
Running on battery power, the unit will go in to sleep mode within 5 minutes.
Running on AC Adaptor, the unit will go in to sleep within 10 minutes
- CPU performance is also restricted
