Toshiba introduces the first TV with Dolby® Volume!
Finally, there is a solution to those annoying volume variations you experience when watching TV. With Dolby® Volume, you will enjoy consistent volume levels from all sources and devices connected to your digital television. There is no need to adjust the volume between connected sources or when switching channels. Dolby® Volume guarantees a listening experience that includes all of the elements of the original performance at any volume setting. You choose the preferred listening level and Dolby® Volume does the rest.
Unlike other systems, Dolby® Volume retains the perceived audio dynamics for consistent sound quality. Through the application of independent loudness adjustments to different frequency bands and channels only when needed, Dolby® Volume balances 40 individual frequency bands to maintain all the nuance and impact of the program material.

PixelPure 5G™
The processing power of Toshiba’s fifth generation engine, PixelPure5G™, is the heart of every REGZA TV. The quality of gradation is not only determined by the panel bit rate, but largely depends on the video processor engine itself. By combining 8 bit panels with PixelPure 5G, the 14 bit internal processing increases the levels of gradation to 4,096. This increased gradation results in a smoother and more natural picture without any image banding.

Resolution+™ technology brings images to life with complex image enhancement. Formerly referred to as SRT, the next generation Resolution+™ is a highly-regarded technology that overcomes an industry wide issue of lower picture quality when watching less than Full HD sources. DynaLight™

CrystalCoat™

Native Mode™
If you game, you will enjoy the full advantage that Native Mode™ adds to your Gaming Experience. Native Mode™ displays the 5% to 8% of the image that is generally lost during the normal over-scanning that is done on most TVs. As a result, it eliminates unnecessary scaling of Full HD signals that can reduce overall image resolution and therefore picture quality. None of the picture is lost, allowing you to see the action faster and stay in the game.
Gaming Mode™

Audyssey EQ is an advanced acoustical correction system that compensates for these acoustical problems throughout the listening area. REGZA-Link™ (HDMI™ CEC)
CEC stands for Consumer Electronics Control. Any HDMI-CEC-enabled gear, when connected via HDMI, can be controlled through one remote without any programming or setup required. It is an optional part of the HDMI specification and it allows up to 10 connected devices, including the display, to be controlled via HDMI. The specification allows for universal compatibility with all manufacturers who implement the protocol.
When a Toshiba laptop is linked to a REGZA LCD TV by an HDMI cable you can use the REGZA remote control to run the DVD-ROM, play back music, photographs, and video stored on the Toshiba laptop using a big screen REGZA LCD TV for greater enjoyment. Using REGZA-Link™ you can control Microsoft Windows Media Center using the REGZA remote control. You can enjoy music stored on a Toshiba laptop through the speakers on the REGZA LCD TV, and the photographs and video content stored on a Toshiba laptop on the REGZA LCD TV screen.
You can also use the REGZA remote control to power on devices. You can use the REGZA remote control to turn on your laptop, and your XDE or DVD player on and off. Need to enter screen display settings? The laptop screen display will be displayed on the REGZA LCD TV just as it is. REGZA-Link™ will start playing a DVD and simultaneously turn on the REGZA LCD TV while allowing the ability to control the TV, XDE or DVD player and audio amplifier at the same time, with a single remote.
