 NMSO Order Process

Ordering

  • Toshiba products can be ordered by submitting a Call-up/Purchase Order to any authorized NMSO reseller (verbal orders cannot be accepted).
  • Call-ups against this NMSO shall be made using Form DSS 942 or DSS 944 (English)/MAS 945 (French).
  • If the call-up is made for the purchase of accessories or system components only (i.e. NMSO options), the call-up must not exceed $25,000.00, GST/HST included.
  • The call-up may include a total of up to $5,000.00 of non-Standing Offer items. Your NMSO reseller of choice can assist you in selecting additional memory, adapters, batteries, carrying cases, hard disks, NIC cards, etc., which will be suitable with your Toshiba notebooks.
    Complete Call-Up Limitations

    Delivery
    All products will be FOB Destination. Delivery will be completed within 15 days after receipt of an authorized call-up or order for quantity of less than 20 units and within 20 days for quantity of 20 units or more. Invoicing All invoices will show the complete Call-up/order Number. Invoices will be issued from the selected NMSO resellers.

    Prices
    Prices and/or NMSO products are updated on a regular basis. Please check the NMSO Approved Products and Price List

    Warranty
    All NMSO notebooks are covered by a one or three year parts and labour, depot level warranty. See the pricing section for cost of upgrading to on-site warranty. If non-Toshiba branded items/options are combined with Toshiba notebooks, the manufacturer's warranty will apply. Please note that Toshiba batteries and all other Toshiba accessories are covered by a one year limited warranty.

    Installation
    All notebook pricing includes configuration, i.e. formatting hard disk drive, installation of operating system, and installation in the basic system of any peripherals specified in the call-up. See the pricing section for cost of on-site installation.

    Level of Service
    In the event of a system problem, service will be normally restored within 2 business days. It is understood, however, that this is an average. For equipment service/trouble calls please call your authorized NMSO reseller or Toshiba product support at 1-800-663-0378.

    Models pre-installed with Windows XP Pro are downgradeable to Windows 2000. Therefore, users are not required to purchase a new licence if they wish to switch to Windows 2000. If required, an additional fee of $75.00 will be charged for installation of Windows 2000 by the NMSO Reseller.

    1. Batteries, Docking Stations and Port Replicators are covered by a one year limited warranty.
    2. Data connection rates may vary depending on conditions.
    3. TRADEMARKS: Windows 2000 and Windows XP are registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Pentium 4 and Celeron technology are registered trademarks of Intel Corporation. All other brands and products are trademarks of their respective companies.
