	Position Description

Reporting to the Technical Manager Telecommunications in our Markham HQ, the successful candidate will become a product and technical expert to provide telephony/VOIP application technical support to our authorized dealer network.

You will be required to provide support for telecommunications products and services for sales staff, customer solution experts and technicians. You will also act as a technical authority to customers with regards to Voice networking IP telephony and convergence. You will be required to develop technical support and training materials to support business telecommunication products. As a technical expert you will be knowledgeable in leading-edge data network technologies, and of the IT systems and applications used in the industry. You will also train others on Toshiba IP Telephony products both in a classroom and online situations. Some travel will be required.

	Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of IP / TDM Telephony demonstrated implementation and deployment experience with Toshiba CIX. You will have a strong background in Routing and Switching and UC installation. Current certifications in Network, TCP/IP and Telecommunication equipment is required. You will have a College or University degree in the field of telecommunications or computer science.
We require a person with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and multi-task, coupled with strong communication and presentation skills.
Being Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe is required. Bi-lingual in French and English is strongly required.
