Position Description

• Installing copier, facsimile, multi-functional and colour equipment at customer sites.
• Performing equipment service on a required basis within specific time parameters.
• Responding to customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Maintaining all Company tools and materials, including an accurate inventory of parts.
• Provide onsite and phone support for expansive client base
• Communicating with the Supervisor regularly on all aspects of service.
• Completing required service and equipment performance reports as required

Qualifications

• Focus on customer service and interaction
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Some travel will be required occasionally
• Minimum 2 years experience connecting and supporting PC on LAN’s with a focus on printing and scanning.
• Working knowledge of email systems including MS Exchange
• Working knowledge of MAC OSX desktop support and printing support
• Exposure to general networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP
• Experience using and installing diagnostic and backup software
• Must possess hardware/software troubleshooting skills combined with good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in servicing PC’s, and file servers
• Experience in servicing Multi-function Printers an asset
• A+ certification required.
• PDI + Certification an asset
• Network+, MCSE, Server+ certification an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high call volumes.
