Toshiba partners with Sleeman Breweries to help streamline their logistics planning process through Digital Signage

Markham, ON (December 9, 2015) - Toshiba of Canada, the leading provider of business products and solutions has partnered with Sleeman Breweries of Guelph, ON to implement Toshiba’s Digital Signage Solution to help streamline Sleeman’s logistics planning process.

“Toshiba’s Digital Signage Solution has simplified our planning process, improved efficiency and saved money,” says Dave Parsons, Distribution Supervisor for Sleeman.  “Our old process involved hours of data gathering, consolidation and manual write ups. Toshiba’s Digital Signage Solution saves us a lot of time and ensures accurate delivery schedules are displayed at all times. In addition, Toshiba handled the mounting, monitoring and scheduling of our displays allowing my team to focus on managing the logistics planning without worrying about the technology.”

With the implementation of Toshiba’s Digital Signage Solution, Sleeman is now able to integrate their current route planning spreadsheets (which are assembled across multiple departments) and publish them to Toshiba’s Digital Signage Panels mounted within their logistics planning area.  The connected panels are able to receive the shared files in raw data format and then present them to drivers and warehouse staff in a visually appealing, easy to understand way while ensuring continuous accuracy in the delivery information.  Along with displaying the delivery schedule, weather and traffic updates are also displayed to keep important information visible at all times before drivers head out on the road.

“We are thrilled Sleeman has chosen Toshiba as their Digital Signage partner,” says Alex Mourra, Solutions Program Manager at Toshiba of Canada. “We offer a unique, full-service approach to Digital Signage which includes content creation services, cloud-based management software, professional installation, remote monitoring and ongoing technical support—all at an affordable cost.”
