Portégé X30 and A30 Features Intel 7th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors, Windows 10 Pro and Complete Suite of the Enterprise-level Security Options 

 

Markham, ON. - May 25, 2017-Toshiba Client Solutions Canada Ltd. today announced two new additions to the organization's notebook portfolio the Portégé X30 and the Portégé A30. 

Portégé X30 Features:

 

Thinner Designs Without Compromise 
At 15.9mm thin and weighing a mere 2.3 pounds1, the 13.3-inch Portégé X30 is 11-percent thinner and 13-percent lighter than its award-winning predecessor. Even with the extremely compact form factor, Toshiba designed the Portégé X30 to meet the performance demands of the modern workplace through the adoption of 7th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors and Windows 10 Pro to give users the latest processing technology and most robust operating systems on the market. Users will also find features such as Full HD (1920 x 1080) multi-touch wide viewing angle displays, Intel® 802.11ac Wi-Fi®2, solid state drives and batteries with extended life ratings of up to 18 hours2.
 
Enterprise-Level Security Features 
The Portégé X30 features multiple security elements including proprietary BIOS, Face Authentication, Fingerprint Reader, Trusted Platform Module, BitLocker Drive Encryption, Device Guard, Credential Guard, Intel® Authenticate, Smart Card Reader and Security Lock Slot solutions. This collection of premium biometric, system-level and physical measures makes the Portégé® X30 a tough puzzle to solve1. 

 

Modern Ports with Expanded Capabilities 
Toshiba new ultra-portable comes with a complete suite of ports including 2 USB Type-C™ ports3, USB 3.0 port, an HDMI, and a microSD Card Slot as well as a headphone/mic combo port. The USB Type-C port features reversible plug orientation and supports Display, Power Delivery and Thunderbolt™ 3. 

 

Advanced Docking Options 
The Portégé X30 is compatible with our new advanced docking solution - Toshiba Thunderbolt® 3 Dock6. This dock is designed to expand the overall productivity of the Portégé X30 through a single connection.
