3D Smart TVs

A Smart television should make your life easier. Toshiba's new 2012 premium 3D TVs make discovering, navigating and organizing content simple and allow for greater interaction with network-connected PCs and tablets. They are versatile and intuitive.

Searching and Navigating
Consumers don't just want a good Smart TV, they want features that allow for a seamless Smart TV experience. Toshiba's new ePortal makes finding and controlling all system elements easy while the built-in MediaGuide allows for unmatched content discovery and organization. Looking for something in particular? Toshiba's SearchAll function enables consumers to enter any keyword and automatically search TV channels, streaming video and the home network for related content. Open Browser gives users access to virtually any website and create bookmarks for favorites.

No piece of technology should be an island. Toshiba's new Smart TVs offers a new level of interoperability with other network-enabled devices. MediaShare, a simple graphic DLNA® interface, allows the Smart TV to easily access and stream videos, music and photos from other home network devices. TRAC (Tablet Remote App Capable) ensures that Toshiba Smart TVs are fully compatible with Android™-based devices. At the push of a button, Toshiba's new Send&Play app allows users to wirelessly share web-based content from a Toshiba Tablet on to Toshiba's Smart TV via the television's web browser.

Picture Quality
Featuring the dual core CQ (Cinema Quality) Engine, the L6200 and L7200 television series offer consumers enhanced brightness, sharpness and colour saturation for superior picture quality.

Passive 3D and 2D to 3D Conversion
Both series announced today utilize Passive 3D technology to create a rich and comfortable 3D home entertainment experience. Employing polarized 3D glasses and RealD™ 3D technology, much like the 3D you experience in movie theatres, these televisions are optimal for prolonged 3D viewing and gaming. The new L6200 and L7200 series also come equipped with TriVector 2D to 3D Conversion, a proprietary Toshiba technology that allows consumer to experience 2D content in full, vivid 3D.
